I didn't realise how much I wanted this to happen until after I read this headline and rejoiced. Josh Trank is given a second chance after the disastrous and career-threatening Fantastic Four.
Trank's next movie will see him back in the director's chair with a story that he wrote about the infamous Al Capone, according to ComingSoon.
Simply titled Fonzo, the movie will be headlined by Tom Hardy, who is once again playing another gangster. Last year he played London mobsters the Kray Twins in Legend, as well as having a strong supporting role in TV's "Peaky Blinders".
Trank's Chronicle is still one of my all-time favourite. What he did with that film was really something special, but Fantastic Four was just an unfortunate event. So I'm really looking forward to seeing what else he can do. And with him returning to something smaller and an independent film once again, is just what he needs
