EuropaCorp Production has released the first trailer of the much-anticipated Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets, directed by Luc Besson.
It's been 20 years since Besson's last foray into this genre of science-fiction, the last one was The Fifth Element, this first trailer shows off the yet another beautiful sci-fi universe and it's a spectacle.
There are a lot of alien species, just like Star Wars, and some parts of the action sequences and falling in air remind me of the prequels of Star Wars.
But this trailer doesn't really tell the audience what the story is about. It's just using a lot of CGI to reel in attention for it, which as a first trailer, can be forgiven.
The next trailer will have more work on explaining the world that it's set in and why do we care about Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne's characters.
The movie will be out on 21 July 2017.
