Sony Shifts Release Dates For Major Titles Including Jumanji And Dark Tower
Sony Pictures is shuffling their release dates for some of their upcoming big projects, according to ComingSoon.
Dark Tower with Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba has shifted from 17 February 2017 to 28 July 2017, which makes sense since we haven't even seen any trailers as of now.
Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart's Jumanji has shifted 28 July 2017 to 22 December 2017.
Denzel Washington's The Equalizer 2 is also being delayed from the previously announced 29 September 2017 to 14 September 2018.
The Flatliners reboot has shifted slightly from 18 August 2017 to 29 September 2017. Also affected slightly is the T2 Trainspotting with Ewan McGregor which has moved from 3 February 2017 to 3 March 2017.
Not to read too much into this but why is Sony pushing back so many projects? Are they not able to keep with filming and production schedules because of a much bigger issue internally?
