David Ayer To Direct Gotham City Sirens
Not the best of news, and actually quite surprising considering how Suicide Squad was not the most beloved by critics and a good portion of the fans.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, David Ayer will be directing Harley Quinn once again in the now-confirmed spin-off, Gotham City Sirens.
At first it was rumoured to be a Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn solo movie, then it became Harley Quinn and a few other female villains in the Batman universe. So now it is confirmed to be the Gotham City Sirens which is said to include Catwoman and Poison Ivy.
DC and Warner Bros. Pictures just can't stick to what they have planned. Things keep changing in their line-up and release date and I can only imagine that people working in these projects have to expect changes every day in the office. It's ridiculous.
But again, what's surprising is that they are giving Ayer reins of another movie. Suicide Squad to me was not good enough at all and the biggest part of it was Ayer. And now they are giving him another movie? Colour me confused and surprise.
