I did not think I would enjoy this much watching a Despicable Me 3 trailer but I was smiling if not laughing the whole time.
And the new villain character seems to be a hit already. I like that he has a bald spot, and the disapproval of shoulder pads.
But most of all is the imagery that brought out the laughter. It's cute and beautifully created animation that, while not the most memorable, but enjoyable while it lasts.
Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig are both back to reprise their roles. The movie is produced by Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment and will be out on 30 June 2017.
