Tom Cruise's The Mummy First Trailer

We once again see Tom Cruise in full action mode in this first trailer for Universal Pictures' The Mummy.

I wonder if there's any big stunts that he did himself, but then again, he doesn't have to sell this like he did Mission: Impossible.

There certainly are a lot of action-packed scenes in this one that looks very impressive, up until the point that Cruise's character comes back to life...? What's that all about?

From then on it just lost me as I didn't like how things transpired, plus nothing too impressive comes after that.

Planned as the first movie in the new cinematic universe for a brand new take on these legendary monsters, directed by Alex Kurtzman, The Mummy will be out on 9 June 2017.
