From Sony Pictures Entertainment and Mattel, a live-action Barbie movie is in the works.
It shouldn't be too difficult to create a Barbie movie since the property lends itself very well for story plots.
And that prospect has just increased as the movie has just secured Amy Schumer to star, as well as do a re-write on the story with her sister Kim Caramele.
According to The Hollywood Reporter. the movie aims to take a page out of classics such as Splash or Big, or more recently, Enchanted.
The studio is currently looking for a director.
