Captain Underpants is based on the children books series by Dav Pilkey. With over 50 million in print in the US while published in 19 countries, some have debuted at number 1 on the best-seller list including The New York Times.
DreamWorks Animation is bringing this title for the first time to the silver screen, titled Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie.
The first poster has just been released, but since I have not come across this title before, I have no idea what it is. However, since it's by DreamWorks, it should be a lot of fun.
Directed by David Soren, featuring the voice talents of Kevin Hart, Ed Helms, Thomas Middleditch, Nick Kroll and Jordan Peele. Apparently there is no female lead.
The movie will be out on 2 June 2017.
