Robert Rodriguez has just completed filming his upcoming manga adaptation Alita: Battle Angel, but there has been one cast member who has been kept secret until now.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Michelle Rodriguez has been part of the cast for the movie. She plays a character from the source material named Gelda, who was a slim cyborg warrior.
But is there really a point to hiding her involvement in the movie? I don't see any, and therefore she may not have a big role in the movie; that's why her addition wasn't worth a mention as her name alone wouldn't sell the movie anyway.
Alita: Battle Angel will be released on 20 July 2018.
