There has been little news for the Godzilla sequel, King Of The Monsters, but seems to be picking up steam at the moment.
Michael Dougherty will be taking over directing duties from Gareth Edwards, though Edwards is now free to come back; which was what Legendary and Warner Bros. Pictures initially delayed production for Edwards.
Dougherty also has found his leading lady, or one of his leading ladies, in TV series "Stranger Things" Millie Bobby Brown.
Variety recently reported that the second addition to the cast is Kyle Chandler, who will be playing Brown's father in the sequel. But it is also reported that Ken Watanabe will be the only cast member from the first movie who will be returning.
Godzilla: King Of The Monsters will be out on 22 March 2019, definitely still a long time away.
