[Review] Knock Knock (6/10)
As lame as this movie seemed at first, Knock Knock and director Eli Roth presented their case quite convincingly.
It's always the "what if this happens to you" scenario that gets the mind thinking and imagining. And in this case, coming from a man's perspective, it is hard to argue with Keanu Reeves' character.
With each second that went by, Lorenza Izzo and Ana de Armas, you can see how things would eventually get out of hand.
Sure, by the beginning of the third act, some events would seem a little exaggerated. But then again, Roth was able to pull something out of Reeves that I haven't seen any other directors were successful at. He got Reeves to emote, and as we have seen, that is no easy feat when it comes to the one-expression actor.
In the end, another "what if" scenario, and that's what made this movie an enjoyable flick.
