Dave Bautista To Join Sylvester Stallone's Escape Plan 2

It's good to see Dave Bautista continues to get work outside of Guardians Of The Galaxy. He looks like someone who is hard at work honing his skills in order to make that tricky transition of a wrestler into an actor. So far I have no complaints as directors always know how to use him.

Bautista will next be joining the crew of Escape Plan 2, according to The Hollywood Reporter, which promises to bring back Sylvester Stallone, as well as Curtis Jackson, for another prison break.

No confirmation on Arnold Schwarzenegger returning, and I do not believe he will be. However, he may pop up at the end of the movie for a cameo to set up for the third movie should the sequel do well. That's my guess anyway.

Also joining the sequel is Jaime King, who may or may not be taking over the role of Amy Ryan from the first movie.

Escape Plan was considered a failure on States side but did so well internationally - with a big portion of the profits from China - that the sequel will be a China-U.S. co-production.

The movie will be directed by Steven C. Miller, but no word yet on a release date as of now.
