Now that Kong: Skull Island has set up for the Godzilla sequel, King Of The Monsters, casting is well underway with Millie Bobby Brown taking the lead and Kyle Chandler playing her father.
Variety has confirmed that Vera Farmiga, of The Conjuring series fame, will be playing Brown's mother.
Ken Watanabe is the only cast member from the original movie that has confirmed to return based on the script by Zach Shields. Michael Daugherty, who previously did the horror-comedy Krampus, will be directing.
The sequel will arrive on 22 March 2019, and will be followed by Godzilla Vs. Kong on 29 May 2020.
