Paramount Pictures has found a new director to the sequel of World War Z. Good news all around because after losing Juan Antonio Bayona, the project was speculated to be dead.
But even more impressive is the fact that the new director is none other than a long-time collaborator of Brad Pitt, David Fincher.
Fincher brings with him a certain clout and class, and World War Z 2 is certainly shaping up with Fincher's name behind it.
Fincher previously worked with Pitt in Se7en, Fight Club and The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button.
No word still on a new release date but production is expected to begin early 2018.
