Kathryn Bigelow's Detroit First Trailer And Poster

Annapurna Pictures has just released the first trailer to the new Kathryn Bigelow project, simply titled Detroit.

Based on the 1967 riots and civil unrest in Detroit, this trailer gives us a taste of, and remind us, what Bigelow is capable of. The realism she brings to her films that were prevalent in Zero Dark Thirty and The Hurt Locker, will most definitely be front and centre once again in Detroit.

The movie stars John Boyega, Will Poulter, John Krasinksi, Jack Reynor, Jason Mitchell and Anthony Mackie.

Detroit will be released on the 50th anniversary of the historical event, 4 August 2017.
