The Little Hours could be the little film that packs a lot of laughs, and it feels like it is an indie comedy. With its all-star comedic cast, the potential to be a really funny flick is high.
Speaking of the cast, it includes Alison Brie, Aubrey Plaza, Dave Franco, Kate Micucci, John C. Reilly and Molly Shannon.
The red band trailer shows a lot of the funny bits; but what I am afraid of is, like the trailer, the movie does not have a strong story but it's just gag after gag.
These character posters are understated, don't really reveal much and also would not grab attention. But I believe these are like the calm before the storm, which the movie is packing a punch.
Written and directed by Jeff Baena, The Little Hours will be out on 30 June 2017.
