[Review] That Awkward Moment (4/10)

When you have the massive talents of Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller; three of the youngest talents that could be nominated for Academy Award at any given year with the right roles; and yet what we got was That Awkward Moment.

What I would like to know is how did someone as fresh and new as Tom Gormican; wrote this script and attracted Efron, Jordan and Teller to be in his directorial debut.

Not one scene in this movie looked realistic. The whole thing was boring and uninteresting, shallow and sometimes ridiculous. There was a few scenes that were good for laughs, there was a nice big romantic finish; but I do not believe they were worth sitting through this movie.

The only people had fun with this movie was probably the cast and crew, because they looked that way and perhaps that's the biggest consolation. But as an audience, it was hard to enjoy the movie or to defend it.
