A brand new poster for Detroit has just been released from Annapurna Pictures.
The poster features four of its cast, John Boyega, Will Poulter, Anthony Mackie and Algee Smith; and solidifying who will be the main leads in this retelling of the 1967 Detroit's civil unrest.
However, this is not a great poster. The title going down the page follows the style of the previous poster. However, the four faces are not clear and it would make more sense if we already know who they are; but we do not at this point. So it does not really say anything clearly as it relies on the expressions on the four faces, just not to great effect.
Directed by Academy Award winner Kathryn Bigelow, Detroit will be out on 4 August 2017.
