It was a busy weekend as Disney's D23 Expo just wrapped, with tons of contents around the internet.
It was there that the first trailer and poster for Ava DuVernay's A Wrinkle In Time debuted. Based on the classic Young Adult novel, the adaptation stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Chris Pine, Michael Pena, Zach Galifianakis and Levi Miller.
As I have no idea what this property is about, this first trailer albeit looks visually fantastic but ultimately makes no sense to me. Not the trailer's fault but since this is the first trailer it does not give away too much of its plot.
Some, if not all, of the scenes would make complete sense to the fans but outside of its fanbase, it's hard to say what the story is about.
Directed by DuVernay, written by Jennifer Lee who also wrote Frozen; the movie comes out on 9 March 2018.
