Paramount Pictures is making it official. The sequel to Top Gun finally has a release date. But it's not anytime soon because it is not next year.
The original movie came out back in 1986, and the studio has fixed the sequel to be out right smack in the middle of summer on 12 July 2019.
What is also interesting to note is that it will be sandwiched between the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel and then the live action adaptation The Lion King from Walt Disney Studios; both of which will be making a killing in the box office as they are still relevant; unlike Top Gun.
