Disney Shifts Dates, Aladdin To Take Over Star Wars Episode IX
Walt Disney Studios has announced some changes and new release dates for the near future, according to ComingSoon.
One of the most notable one would be the former date for Star Wars Episode IX, before J.J. Abrams was announced as director, was set for 24 May 2019. And after shifting to 20 December 2019, Aladdin is now taking over that prime summer slot.
The untitled Christopher Robin project starring Ewan McGregor and Hayley Atwell, directed by Marc Forster, is set for 3 August 2018. And Artemis Fowl has been announced for 9 August 2019, with Kenneth Branagh set at the helm.
Another previously untitled "Disney Fairy Tale" has been revealed as Nicole, starring Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader, and will be out on 8 November 2019; about Santa Claus' daughter taking over the family business.
