Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer to the upcoming drama-comedy-sci-fi, Downsizing.
Written by Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, it is also directed by Payne as his follow-up to Academy Award-nominated Nebraska and The Descendants.
Downsizing stars Matt Damon, Christoph Waltz, Kristen Wiig and Chau Hong. The trailer took a while to show us what "downsizing" means but once it gets there, it becomes really interesting really fast with all the possibilities dawning on the audience.
It also makes me think if I would opt for this option because then you get more for what you have - truly a remarkable and considerable concept.
With both of Payne's previous two movies earning their lead actor an Academy Award nomination, which George Clooney actually won for The Descendants, could Damon be up for a nomination too next year?
Downsizing is scheduled to be out on 22 December 2017, opposite Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
