It was only a matter of time and a matter of a few million dollars more, but Patty Jenkins has been confirmed to return as director for the sequel of Wonder Woman.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this marks Jenkins as the highest paid female director in the history of Hollywood after an unusually lengthy period of negotiation.
Serves Warner Bros. Pictures right for not having the foresight to sign Jenkins on for a multiple-movie deal!
According to the source, Jenkins will be earning in a figure between USD 7 and 9 million; but with a very significant figure from the backend gross - which only top-tiered directors are privy to.
