The first teaser trailer for Smallfoot has just been released by Warner Animation Group, plus an early look at the characters in their character posters.
I am not used to getting character posters so early in the marketing campaign as the movie is almost a year away. But seeing the line-up, I suppose the movie needs all the marketing it can get because really, only Channing Tatum is the crowd puller.
The rest of the cast includes Danny DeVito, Zendaya, James Corden, Common LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez and Jimmy Tatro.
We are only getting the main plot here with this teaser trailer, not much to be learned apart from some first look at the characters. And so far, the plot is interesting enough with a lot of potential, albeit not that original to begin with.
Directed by Karey Kirkpatrick, the movie will be out on 28 September 2018.
