Universal Pictures has release the first trailer for the upcoming biblical biopic of Mary Magdalene.
Rooney Mara stars as the titular character, while Joaquin Phoenix plays Jesus; and supported by Chiwetel Ejiofor. Definitely an Oscar level talents, but why does nothing move me in this trailer.
Worse is that one horrible transition that cuts to Phoenix who looks like he is pulling a funny face. This is a badly cut trailer that possibly does not do the movie justice.
Directed by Gareth Davis, the movie will be out on 16 March 2018.
