Twentieth Century Fox has been pushing the boundaries the most when it comes to the superhero genre, going R-rated with Deadpool first and then a dark and grim Wolverine solo movie with Logan.
Now, with The New Mutants, the studio is taking on the horror genre; as can be seen with the first trailer released not too long ago, and now with this first poster. I am almost ready to forgive the studio for the blundering of Fantastic Four.
However, this first poster left me wanting more. Not only is it plain, but you do not even get to see proper faces of the characters. Understandably this is only a first poster which is to tease us, but I am already quite excited for it just from the casting alone.
Directed by Josh Boone, the spin-off will be released on 13 April 2018.
