Paramount Pictures has released a new poster for the upcoming sci-fi thriller Annihilation.
However, this poster looks completely boring. It doesn't tell you anything about the movie because that veil of aura-like energy field is not scary at all in the trailers.
But right at the bottom it does say "From the director of Ex Machina"; and that is the right way to market this movie because even when the trailers have failed to impress me, that prospect of Alex Garland's follow-up to his award-winning movie excites me.
Written and directed by Garland, Annihilation will be out on 23 February 2018.
