The first trailer for Lionsgate's Codeblack Films thriller Traffik reeks of desperation because this first ever trailer has just delivered the whole movie in less than three minutes.
Starring Paula Patton and Omar Epps, absolutely nothing is left to the imagination as all three acts of the movie have been squeezed into this lousy trailer.
At first I had no interest in what I'm seeing, but thirty seconds later the plot took a different turn and suddenly I am intrigued. That is until another 15 seconds later when every plot point started playing out in front of me.
This first poster is also no better than the trailer, and does not represent what the movie is about.
A potentially interesting movie that got ruined by the desperate marketing team. Directed by Deon Taylor, Traffik will be out on 27 April 2018.
