The encouraging part about this sequel is that the same creators are back: Washington, Wenk, Fuqua and some of the supporting cast.
From this trailer we see Leo's character supposedly died. I will be very disappointed if the main villain turns out to be her, or even Pascal's character. If it is, then it will be very predictable.
But this is one franchise that deserves a sequel with Washington and let's hope it delivers after so many years.
