According to Variety, Michelle Pfeiffer is the latest name to join the sequel to 2014's Maleficent, with Ed Skrein also onboard. Returning and reprising their roles will be Jolie and Fanning.
The first movie was no good to put it lightly. That's why I am surprised that this sequel is moving forward and pulling in bigger names to beef up their casting. And hopefully this sequel will be a much better prequel that is closer to the lore of the original Disney classic.
