[Review] Wilson (6.5/10)
Woody Harrelson has had a bit of a resurgence of of late in terms of getting to work. And for 2017, he had six movies, starting with this small, indie film, Wilson.
And this movie was all about his character from start to finish. He was in every scene and he had no problems leading the movie as this was one of his finest work creating a character. He was funny, annoying, lovable, frustrating, hilarious, all at the same time.
Laura Dern and Judy Greer also had good performances but Harrelson was just a league of his own.
There were many situations created by Wilson that were just the funniest things to witness. And the dialogue just added to those situations, and were even better coming from Harrelson's mouth.
I'm surprised that this movie did not get more recognition But then again, the third act did not lift the movie higher than where it came from; so the ending also kind of plateaued. Otherwise this should have gathered more buzz.
