Birds Of Prey is the next WB and DC project to be given the fast track after Aquaman and Shazam, and the self-contained Joker movie.

Hodson has presented a script that has been approved and Yan will be directing - another all-female crew for a big budget comic book adapted movie.

In this version, Birds Of Prey comes with three female protagonists namely Harley Quinn, Huntress and Black Canary.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead will play Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell will play Black Canary.

I'm a fan of Winstead and I am looking forward to more major roles for her. She was great in Scott Pilgrim Vs The World, she was almost Domino which has rightfully gone to Zazie Beetz. So this is another chance for her to be more recognized on the silver screen.
