I wrote this off as a kids movie after seeing the trailer, and was I wrong. The humour, the story, the drama, they were all so entertaining. Only the life lesson perhaps was a little juvenile. Everything else was so enjoyable and I laughed so many times.
I have never seen the animated series but this cast of voice actors are really good and they were one of the big reasons that the characters were so entertaining.
The only negative I have would be the fact that there were a bunch of Marvel references, which I found unnecessary. Only the Deadpool stuff transitioned more seamlessly.
And it's safe to say that, to this date, this is one of the best DC movies ever released.
