According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Gunn has been confirmed to write and direct Suicide Squad 2.
I've said this before, hiring Gunn is the best decision WB has made in the last two years or so. Marvel's loss is definitely DC's gain, and I foresee this sequel will do the kind of numbers that Gunn's Guardians Of The Galaxy movies did, which is around USD 700-800 million ballpark figures.
