[Editorial] My Pick For Oscars 2019 Winners Today


Before the nominations for Academy Awards get released later this month, I am going to give my picks for the major categories; but only based on what I have seen today.

Meaning, I have quite the limited pool to work with as I haven't seen some of the heavy hitters for this award season like Green Book, The Favorite, If Beale Street Could Talk, Vice, Stan & Ollie, Creed 2, Widows, Roma, Beautiful Boy, and many more.

So, purely based off of what I have seen so far, and if I were to pick the front runners and winners today; here is my smaller nomination list and who I would award the Oscars of 2019 to.

Best Song:

Best Supporting Actor:

Josh Hamilton - Eighth Grade

Best Actress: 
Toni Colette - Hereditary
Elsie Fisher - Eighth Grade
Emily Blunt - Mary Poppins Returns / A Quiet Place

Best Actor:
