Initially scheduled for 29 May 2020, Disney has moved up the release date to 18 October 2019.
Maybe Disney is doing a course correct with this sequel as one of the major criticism for the first one was that Maleficent was made to be sympathized when she should be feared.
The addition of Michelle Pfeiffer will keep this interesting, though.
