RIP John Singleton

Director John Singleton has passed away four days ago on 29 April 2019 from a stroke after being admitted into a hospital. According to Deadline, his family has made the tough decision to take him off life support after three days.

Singleton was the one responsible for Boyz N The Hood, which also saw him as the youngest and first African American to receive the Best Director nomination for his feature debut when he was just 24.

He also directed 2 Fast 2 Furious, Four Brothers, Abduction, and also Shaft starring Samuel L. Jackson.
