One can only laugh and accept the absurdity that is going on in this trailer, but you can't say that the franchise is not consistent in the direction that it is going for - which is turning these movies into the superhero genre.
But these posters have a cool factor to them, something akin to the 80's cartoons like M.A.S.K., where there is a focus on every character with their vehicle; and that their vehicle has a personality as big as the characters themselves. Basically, the characters are their vehicles. I know this isn't what this movie will be, but it should! That would be something that we have not seen in a long, long time.
