The last trailer for this movie was so good, I would still say it was the best of the year today after Godzilla Vs. Kong. So I was very disappointed with what we've gotten.
The script was terrible. Assembling the team wasn't fleshed out enough (even though the running time was around 2.5 hours long), the idea of splitting the share wasn't logical because everyone was going to see how much was in the vault. And also, how do you fit 50 million into a tiny chopper? Let alone carrying it from the vault to the roof.
The zombies had a nice upgrade whereby few were able to think and reason with, and apparently parkour was also a side effect. But then there was a twist about two zombies that was just weird and unnecessary.
The relationship between Dave Bautista and Ella Purnell being father and daughter were poorly written. The attempted romance was even worse. The reason for Purnell to join the team made no sense.
The only interesting character was Nora Arnezeder as The Coyote.
