[Review] The Girl In The Spider's Web (5.5/10)

Title - The Girl In The Spider's Web
Production - Columbia Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, New Regency Productions
Starring - Claire Foy, Sverrir Gudnason, LaKeith Stanfield, Sylvia Hoeks, Stephen Merchant, Christopher Convery, Claes Bang, Vicky Krieps, Mikael Persbrandt
Writer - Jay Basu
Director - Fede Alvarez
Release - 9 November 2018

This was quite a forgettable movie and I think the screenplay by Jay Basu did not have enough to hook the audience in, because the movie was shot quite well by Fede Alvarez.

Maybe also because LaKeith Stanfield may have been a wrong casting choice. He never seemed to fit into the character he was playing. One scene he all of a sudden took out a rifle and made shots that I didn't think his character, a hacker, would even knew how to; let alone make those shots.

The action, nowhere near entertaining as what he shot in Don't Breathe. But Claire Foy was a great watch, and the movie was beautifully shot as well.
