As a horror-mystery, I found this to be lacking.

A good horror needs to have a great ending that has an explanation to tie everything that was in the setup. This had none of that.

The concept seemed like a good idea but the execution left me baffled as to why a lot of things happened the way they did. And perhaps one of the biggest mystery happened in the beginning where Thomasin McKenzie's character received a hicky but was never explained how, or why it never happened again when other incidents took place.

No doubt the film was beautifully shot. It made the audience felt like we were able to experience walking through London (certainly brought back memories to me). And McKenzie was a competent lead, taking us through her perspective.

However, I just couldn't get behind the storytelling. Terence Stamp's character existed just to throw us off and it really did not feel very clever. Edgar Wright seemed to be losing me one movie after the next. This was another step down from Baby Driver.
