I remembered I had more fun with the first movie, but I think I just forgot how these movies were made for kids in mind.

Once again, thin logic throughout the movie that, as someone who appreciates logic, distracted me to no end. I can suspend my disbelief only for so much.

But I have to give credit to James Marsden as he gave his all to sell every situation. For a lesser actor this may not have worked.

This time Jim Carrey didn't seem as enjoyable as the first time. I thought he reverted too much back into Ace Ventura (or I might just have remembered wrong from the first movie, but he was more fun to watch).

But one person who did make this movie more entertaining was Natasha Rothwell. I believe her role was expanded in this sequel and that was the best decision the writers did as she brought a lot of humour that the rest of the cast made stale in this second outing. She was essentially better than this movie.
