Here's why I thought D.B. Weiss and his partner David Benioff lucked into the massive success of Game Of Thrones because by the final season of the series, the writing duo did not have George R. R. Martin's penmanship to make reference. And, to me, that season's writing was the weakest and most frustrating.
In Metal Lords, with only Weiss writing, there was only a handful of scenes that held my interest with engaging dialogue between its characters.
And, can Hollywood stop it already with these types of performance scenarios where one can just show up on the last minute, get on stage and gel with everyone else with minimal to zero practice time? It's so unrealistic it's annoying.
