I think Dwayne Johnson was the wrong voice choice for Krypto. Sure, the producers wanted the Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart back-and-forth, but the movie itself didn't even have too much of their banter going on.
What I would suggest here is to replace Johnson with John Cena. I think his voice and his performance would have been much better and less distracting.
Having said that, the movie itself was highly entertaining. Kate McKinnon as the antagonist was a great choice. Even though she was immediately recognizable, she never detract focus from what her character was up to.
And with the presence of the Justice League themselves, one could easily argue that this was indeed a superhero movie that had heart and good action sequences.
