This was one of the movies that I just took a random chance on, and it ended up being quite charming and real.
The actors, Daniel Zolghadri and Miles Emanuel came without makeup and completely looked the part for this story. Not to mention well acted and well directed, too, for a movie of its modest size and scope.
Matthew Maher is always a joy to watch, and his eccentricities here really shone and forever kept the audience guessing whether or not his story was actually true.
Josh Pais playing the disappointed father also left quite a memorable impression because his exchange with his son were always very entertaining.
And the ending to the story stayed true to its indie sensibility, and it will either be liked or disliked by the person consuming it.
