I'm not sure why this movie was never any bigger. Tye Sheridan gave one of his best in this. And there's Ana de Armas just before she blew up right after Knives Out, and she was so convincing that I didn't see the ending would turn out that way.

It was a slow and meticulous buildup that made sure the audience was thinking one way while there's another plot going on, and while the execution could have been more of a thriller; I was mesmerized the entire time by Sheridan's performance.

I thought there were a lot of holes while watching it, but by the end of it everything came together just by one simple shot of de Armas in the car.
