The only good thing here was Iko Uwais. His spoken English has improved tremendously, he even has gotten an accent. I was very impressed. Plus, all his action scenes looked great.
But that was about it. The writers weren't even trying to be good. And Jason Statham seemed like had a clause in his contract that he would not be shooting outdoors. Pretty much every scene he was in was in front of a green screen. And they looked terrible. But hey, all he had to do was show up and make a few faces; and he got to call it a day and get paid.
It would had been ballsy if they really killed off one of the leaders of this team. But you could tell from the way those scenes played out non-committedly that the death scene was not real. But even that as a motivator didn't seemed to carry weight for the other members.
The jokes were lame. The action scenes weren't good. It's just a poorly written and poorly executed movie. This franchise need to end. Stallone don't need this. Statham don't need this.
