I was very excited and intrigued to see what John Krasinski can do next because of how brilliant A Quiet Place was.

IF, I have to say, was a bit disappointing. Not in the direction, at least, but in the writing. I sort of waited to see how the universe of IF worked, but it was never really explained. Like, how Ryan Reynolds' character was the one with that particular job, or what was the trigger to see your IF - it wasn't particularly clear with Bobby Moynihan's character. And definitely not Cailey Fleming's because she could see them without remembering anything.

I thought Steve Carell was a good choice for voicing Blue. And Fleming did a great job with her character. Reynolds was doing his Reynolds-thing so that is always fun to watch, especially in this universe.

The ending, though didn't clarify enough for me on the rules of the universe, was touching for emotions' sake; but that was it.

Was Fiona Shaw trying an American accent? I couldn't quite figure out.

But if you sat through the credits; you will see the invisible, no-dialogue character, Keith, was a tongue-in-cheek jest credited to Brad Pitt; whom also had a Deadpool 2 cameo in similar fashion. Well played, Krasinski / Reynolds.
