This was a well-directed, well-written, and well-acted movie that just wouldn't get a lot of buzz because the movie was very quiet.
It's not really a thriller, it's more than a drama, but it didn't really culminate into something thrilling. So it's not a buzzy film.
Still, beautifully shot in the Ireland winter where you could feel the cold through the screen, and you could feel the shoveling of the coal as Cillian Murphy delivered a quietly powerful performance through his eyes.
