This sequel has made the whole thing lost its lustre. Halfway through the movie, I couldn't care less about these characters; and I was glad I didn't pay a movie ticket for this.
The dialogue was poorly written, the fight choreography was a ho-hum affair; the actors themselves did their best with what was given to them but not a single one had an interesting arc. Mainly because nothing about the movie made me cared for anyone.
If you remember those TV movies that were the unwanted children of cinemas back in the early 2000s, this felt like one of them. Even with more star power, this was a major step down from the original.
And now this ended with a cliffhanger, I doubt I would be there for the next instalment.
